Hey Friends - here's my final letter after incorporating your edits. Thanks so much - it was super helpful and now I'm feeling way better about sending this to people. Until I had the opportunity to read it aloud with you all to witness, I didn't realize how uncomfortable it felt because my marketing person's voice was too in it vs. my…

I love this! The different headers help break down the content into more bit sized chunks. I love how you say “we” when you list the signs. Well done!

Hello Soul Gym Friends,

The nature of our work as solopreneurs means we often create in isolation, and can lose our objectivity around whatever we’re working on. For myself, this leads to stalling!

These past few weeks of participating in the Soul Gym Content Challenges sparked an idea about how being in community helps us grow and thrive as content creators.

Hi Susan and all,

I wasn't able to open either of the google docs links for Susan and Julia due to not having permissions to access.

Below is a small bit of writing I posted recently. I'm experiencing a migraine and can't be on my computer to complete something else for this week, but will plan to have something for you for by Tuesday next week.

The Unknown

Most of us fear the unknown because we fear getting hurt. Our nervous systems are designed to keep us safe and it feels unsafe not to know. As we even peer into the unknown, the mind can project fearful thoughts clouding possibility and dampening desire for further exploration.

The unknown holds challenges and blessings. As much control as we can attempt to assert on the world around us, we can never shrink so small as to completely avoid difficulty or pain from touching our lives.

Exploring and engaging what's unfamiliar, even in small doses, can be the very gateway to feeling more safe in our bodies and in the world.

Digital Detox - What Drains and What Supports Your Energy

As you go through the Digital Detox process, I encourage you to see yourself as a being of energy. Your energy can be nourished and restored and it can be depleted.

If you’re not being nourished, you’re depleting. Just breathing takes energy. We are aware that healthy foods nourish us, but what about things in our environment?

Think about the experience of someone making an angry comment on one of your social media posts or how you feel after you watch a cable news show? It’s helpful to be mi…

A Digital Detox May Help you Sleep Better

How are you sleeping?

Do you have a hard time falling asleep OR do you sleep easily until the middle of the night when you lie awake for hours trying every sleep technique the internet has to offer?

Did you know that even if you sleep through the night, your sleep may still be affected by screen use?

The National Institute of Health found that electronic devices, particularly when used within an hour before bed, cause “an alteration in sleep architecture”.

They found that there were delay…
