Hello!

My name is Marianne and I live in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I'm a mentor and teacher / facilitator, and I have been self-employed for the past 10 years.

I support people (mostly women) who want to take personal leadership from the heart. They want to clarify their callings, move past self-doubt…

New clients -- how are they finding you?

Look at your new clients from this year... how did they find you?

  • Content?  If å new client has signed up because of your content, on which platform did they find you?

  • Netcaring?  Did a conversation turn into a client or a referral?

  • Market discovery?  Did a market research call turn into a client or referral?

  • Aligned Offer?  Did improving your offer make a noticeable difference in getting interest in your work?

My primary income comes from my 6 months 1:1 mentoring program. And they sign up for my service from:

  • My content - especially after having read some articles on my homepage which is SEO optimized.

  • My book - I have some signing up after having read my book.

  • Free webinar - I haven't done a lot of free webinars but I have actually got one new client from each of them. So maybe I should do more of them going forward 😉

  • Following my newsletter for years - I got a new client who told me that she had been following my email newsletter for years and that she now was ready to sign up.

@Dipanshu Rawal On a recent Q&A call, I was talking to George about my next steps for advertising/marketing/audience growth.

Write the next book was one of the considerations as to what to do with some of my content. I've already written and published 2 small books  :)

Your name actually came up, because it was about LinkedIn -- and George reminded me of your huge growth on there.

@Heather Tobin Thank you for mentioning. It's good to be a part of Illuminati-level secret meetings 😂

Send me a DM if you'd like to know more of my personal experience of growing on LinkedIn :)

About the book - YES! Sounds like a great idea. 3 is such a cool number ✨

3. Next 2-day workshop on 28-29 Sept. Create it, promote it, deliver it, rock the minds of participants. Eventually, create more invitations for 1:1 coaching.

ok I'm baffled -- you're not getting your questions answered on the call?!

Hi Folks, I'm really baffled by this... several people are saying that when you come to my Q&A calls, you don't get your questions answered. WTF?

I swear that I do my best (I thought) to make sure I answer all your questions... but I think what happens is that I ask for your questions... and then I wait for 10 seconds... and I see no questions... so then I start my segment.

Maybe I need to wait 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes?

Truly, from the heart, I'm sad and embarrassed that you've had tha…

I'd love to hear from those who are actually there for most calls... @Beth Budesheim Kaoihme @Marianne Nygaard @Jessica Jennings, MS @Mike Wang @Donna Becker @Jenny Clift @Kayli Larkin ... thank you for being there often!

@George Kao You are doing a phenomenal job of being our mentor, teacher, and it is obvious that it all comes from the ❤️.

@George Kao You are doing a great job of answering our questions on the Q&A calls! I have nothing to complain about, and I can testify that you always ask for our questions on the call. I don't have the impression that we leave the call with our questions unanserved.

@George Kao I've always felt you held space for me to have any of my questions answered. Both when I submit a question beforehand in the Simplero forum and during times when you connect with each of us individually on a call to check in with how we're doing, where our focus is, etc. In fact, during these check-ins, you often answer questions I didn't even know I had :) I appreciate your proactive approach with the check-ins - as I know many of us are introverts, shy, skilled at hiding, etc.

Personally, I feel you give us enough time during calls to see if any of us have any questions (read: I don't believe more time is needed). You also always invite us to put any questions in the Zoom chat. And it's super rare where we run out of time and need to postpone something until a future session.

Ultimately, however, I see it as our job to ask questions. Some may not ask questions because they simply have none at this time. Some may need to work more in their businesses before meaningful questions arise. Some may need to do inner work to be willing to be seen and vulnerable - or to simply say "I'm overwhelmed" and ask for help. Especially in a group container, I feel you already hold a lot of space for all of these possibilities. I believe it's the responsibility of the individual to ask.

So, I can't speak directly to not having my questions answered on calls. It just hasn't been my personal experience.

But I do attend pretty much every Q&A call I am able to (where I have Internet connectivity, not teaching at my studio, not intentionally unplugging, etc). I schedule the Q&A sessions in my calendar like I would any other commitment. As I've mentioned elsewhere, it's probably my favorite part of ABC. But because I attend regularly, I'm very clear about what happens (or could happen) on these calls.

I agree with what @@Grace Yang mentioned in her comment around the segment teaching. For those who aren't able/willing to come for an entire session, having some framework to let people know when to join the call to have their particular question answered is probably the solution.

But this is something I personally don't offer at my studio or plan to offer in my coaching practice, at least not in a group context. To me, 1-1 coaching could be a totally different container.

@Mike Wang wow!  I'm so grateful to see your response.  You have so much experience with my Q&A calls so you can speak to it with a lot of street cred 😄

Thank you from my heart!! 🙏🏼💛

The journey from the head to the heart

Hi, my name is Marianne and I live in Copenhagen, Denmark.

My work is born out of my own suffering and my own longing. I’ve been raised as a head person, but that way of being didn’t work for me at all. Fortunately, nearly 20 years ago I met my mentor, who introduced me to the intelligence of the heart and I found my way home to my true being.

15 years ago, I went through a serious dark night of the soul, and I changed my life completely. For the past 10 years I’ve been self-employed guiding…
