Having served as a shamanic healer, counselor, teacher, trainer and consultant for thirty+ years, it's time to get my books published!

This goal relates to wanting to train more shamanic practitioners, as well as social healers.

I live in the forest on Whidbey Island, NW of Seattle, with Nikita, my sweet little chiweinie rescue doggy of 14 years, I was blessed to adopt her last Christmas:

Can any of these graphic AI tools create a book cover?

@Lenore Norrgard Yes they can!  But probably in conjunction with a human designer, i.e. first, you create a bunch of designs using Ai that you like, then hire a human designer to emulate the parts of the designs that you give to them.  This is how I created the cover for my book Principles of Authentic Business, 2nd Edition.

@George Kao why do you use an external camera, rather than the one on your computer? I'm curious whether the lens focal length is different? My Mac camera is quite good, but the angle of the lens is too wide. Generally, 135mm lens, which is somewhat telephoto, is the most flattering for the human face.

@Lenore Norrgard you may have just answered the question ;-)

LN

@George Kao I read all the specs and I don't see anything about the focal length of the lens.

@Lenore Norrgard I don't know about the technical aspects (sounds like you know more about this!) but I just know that the external camera makes me look better than my built-in one, and also very importantly: it allows adjusting the height, versus the built-in one means I have to move my screen, which can be uncomfortable for my eyesight.

I did my first Facebook Live today, posted it to Youtube, and used a tool that made it into shorts, 7 of which I really like and will use!

@Jill Binder I have been wanting to segment some of my longer videos, what tool do you use? Thanks!

SC

@Lenore Norrgard I use a tool called Riverside.fm, which uses AI to find shorter segments. It's a paid software but I find it the best one to stream my piano lessons so it's worth it for me.
