I live in Pennsylvania, USA, with my husband, Joe, a retired 8th grade science teacher, and our 6 indoor and 1 outdoor cats. I still work a full-time "day job" as a Tax Technician in the Unemployment dept for the state. I'm planning on retiring on my 60th birthday in May 2024. 

I have three side businesses: Sleeping Cat Creations (SCC), in which I design and sell quilt patterns, teach quilting, and quilt for myself and others, and the International Quilters' Guild (IQG), which is a free Facebook group and paid membership group. I recently bought (with my husband, my best quilty friend, Cass, and her husband) a 150-year-old former general store with an apartment above. We are working on turning that into a craft retreat center, where we will offer overnight retreats, classes, open craft times, and a small retail space.
