I have three side bu…

This is SO hard for me. It's why I rarely show my face. I create content that does not show myself, but interestingly, the person I admire most goes live every morning in her PJs with her coffee! LOL

@Jeffrey Keefer Wonderful! Thanks for sharing.

1-to-1 Before starting a group program

George,

I just read your post about tapering (https://www.georgekao.com/blog/tapering), and I'm intrigued.

I want to start a new program in my biz this year with a new audience. I'm considering a group program, but my question is whether I should do some 1-on-1 coaching first? I also saw where you said that if you want some money quickly, 1-on-1 is the way to go.

Here's my thought: Start sharing free content with a call to action to book a free 30-min session with me. But also offer paid sessions every week (step 1 in tapering).

Do you have any feedback or advice?

Thanks, Patti

2 Begin by imagining your ideal 20 3:40
Let's begin imagining your 20...

Imagine 20 people you love to work with – they enjoy your style and skills just as you are now, without you needing to change or improve anything – and you enjoy them as well. Part of this work – as all work of "authentic business" – is to practice believing in the value of your skills and presence, and stepping more into your authentic service-oriented power. Those 20 people probably already in your life/network right now. Draw them forth by writing a heartfelt description of them...  You're welcome to comment below as you tell us about them – anything you can tell us is great, their inner characteristics, outer (visible) demographics, their interests, and most importantly – why they like and trust you. And what they believe that you can support them with. No perfection needed here... just write what comes to you.  You can always update it later – and likely will :) After writing your comment, turn around and comment on 2 others' descriptions, especially if you resonate or know someone who is exactly like that! :) Just because you reply to someone's comment doesn't mean that you'll get a spot as part of their 20 ;-) but later in this course, if there's still space, and it seems aligned for the time being, they might reach out to you with a gentle invitation to play :-)

AH

My ideal 20: smart, educated, accomplished corporate executives (mostly women), from backgrounds of wealth & privilege who are expected to be successful, make big money, and “keep up appearances“

While successful—they've worked hard, risen up, and gotten great jobs—they also struggle with covert bullying, toxic bosses, and abuse/manipulation at work. They are kind, generous, and becoming increasingly spiritual as they get older. They want to break out of the conventional expectations and roles to do more meaningful work but don’t know how.

They are vulnerable to abuse and stay stuck in their roles because of deeply hidden childhood/family/ancestral secrets or traumas.

Energetically and psychically, they are drawn to work with me because I have healed my own childhood and ancestral patterns using a mix of psychology,  shamanic, and other techniques. Also, like many of them, I was raised with wealth, privilege, and expectations of success. However, very early, I left the approved path and followed my own spiritual growth and evolution for 45+ years.

It’s that experience—with the tools, resources, and insights that set me free to follow my path and soul’s purpose—that I want to share with them in my group.

@Andrew H Hryniewicz This group would have suited me so well at an earlier phase of my life. I think you have a great idea here and will attract many clients.
