My journey has been: an architect turned psychotherapist, turned shamanic healer and intuitive guide.

It's been an "interesting" journey (to say the least...) and one that challenges, amazes and inspires me on a regular basis. (Which I've written a book about -- Free Your Soul on Kindle and Blurb. …

2 Begin by imagining your ideal 20 3:40
Let's begin imagining your 20...

Imagine 20 people you love to work with – they enjoy your style and skills just as you are now, without you needing to change or improve anything – and you enjoy them as well. Part of this work – as all work of "authentic business" – is to practice believing in the value of your skills and presence, and stepping more into your authentic service-oriented power. Those 20 people probably already in your life/network right now. Draw them forth by writing a heartfelt description of them...  You're welcome to comment below as you tell us about them – anything you can tell us is great, their inner characteristics, outer (visible) demographics, their interests, and most importantly – why they like and trust you. And what they believe that you can support them with. No perfection needed here... just write what comes to you.  You can always update it later – and likely will :) After writing your comment, turn around and comment on 2 others' descriptions, especially if you resonate or know someone who is exactly like that! :) Just because you reply to someone's comment doesn't mean that you'll get a spot as part of their 20 ;-) but later in this course, if there's still space, and it seems aligned for the time being, they might reach out to you with a gentle invitation to play :-)

My ideal 20: smart, educated, accomplished corporate executives (mostly women), from backgrounds of wealth & privilege who are expected to be successful, make big money, and “keep up appearances“

While successful—they've worked hard, risen up, and gotten great jobs—they also struggle with covert bullying, toxic bosses, and abuse/manipulation at work. They are kind, generous, and becoming increasingly spiritual as they get older. They want to break out of the conventional expectations and roles to do more meaningful work but don’t know how.

They are vulnerable to abuse and stay stuck in their roles because of deeply hidden childhood/family/ancestral secrets or traumas.

Energetically and psychically, they are drawn to work with me because I have healed my own childhood and ancestral patterns using a mix of psychology,  shamanic, and other techniques. Also, like many of them, I was raised with wealth, privilege, and expectations of success. However, very early, I left the approved path and followed my own spiritual growth and evolution for 45+ years.

It’s that experience—with the tools, resources, and insights that set me free to follow my path and soul’s purpose—that I want to share with them in my group.

Reflections on "leaving the cave"...

Hi peeps,

This week I'm reflecting on taking the results of my spiritual practice "out of the cave"... and "into the world". https://youtu.be/TVm1HA5t_yE

And noticing what came/comes up (resistance, doubts, fears) when I do so.

And I'm also adding the link to my YouTube channel I reference as well; https://www.youtube.com/cha...

Be light, Andrew

Great video @Andrew H Hryniewicz and how lovely to see a glimpse of London as your backdrop! ☺️ (I'm in London too!)

I very much relate to taking the equanimity from spiritual practices and living into the fruits of those practices in the outside world.  And yes, being a business owner is indeed a spiritual journey.  I often reflect on all the lessons I experience now as a solopreneur that I just didn't meet as an employee... and just how much I've evolved as a result.

Bravo for "leaving the cave" - a powerful metaphor for leaning into discomfort and stretching one's comfort zone! 🌟

Hi @Winnie Sher nice to meet another Londoner...
I remember when I started my practice as a therapist. I spent the first few years trying to be a good employee (ie good at delivering a service) before realising someone had to run, and market, the practice--and that 'someone' was me! A bit of a shock...

Restoration Week

Hello to One and All!

I look forward to reading and engaging with your shares.

This week I have two to share with you, both quick and inspirational reads.

The first one is on both my facebook business page and IG. I will share the facebook business page post because I also want to share an IG reel, instead:

https://www.facebook.com/JJ...

This is the IG reel.  Interestingly enough, the reel I posted several days before this is now picking up traction? That's fine, its all good, and I would love to know what your feelings/thoughts are on this one:

Thank you as always for your presence in this adventure of soulful content creation.

@Julie Jordan Scott Thanks for your posts. I could relate to both...

First was the 3 years of my girlfriend's cancer diagnosis, treatment and (eventual) death. The hardest, most difficult -- and most beautiful -- experience of my life.

One which taught me so much about staying present and honouring every soul's choices and journey.

The second is the deep grounding and reflection that comes from my morning walks--which always include reading something with ideas and beauty in it. And which I take notes, save quotes from... and then become a source of reflection and insight.

A reflection piece about media, social conversations and the death of a monarch.

I was inspired to write this content which bridges my professional experience as a government advisor and social scientist, with my personal experience and sensitivity taking the pulse on how news affects people.

@Kate McNeill I don't have a clear response to your dilemma/questions/the juggling act you find yourself in... other than these words from Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass"

"Do I contradict myself?
Very well then, I contradict myself.
I am large.
I contain multitudes."

In my experience -- because our being is much larger than what is encompassed by our minds and logical thought -- everything hangs together, but it doesn't necessarily add up...

The challenge (& fears) of being true to yourself

Recent thoughts on 'to thine own self be true'... and how spiritual practice is the antidote to denial and distraction.

Plus the fear (and challenge) of going 'public'.
