How to get fewer (or no) emails when there are new comments
Let's say, you're getting too many emails from my course platform.
Go to the course in question.
So this is the course homepage that says course summary and the course name.
And then there's the bell icon there that sets the default for all the lessons.
So if you're not sure, you probably can do okay by following staff, but sometimes when I make comments, you'll get emails for these various lessons when I make comments there.
So if you're just wanting to say, alright, I don't wanna get any emails, click on unfollow.
So now you're not by default, you're not following any of the any of the new lessons that are posted.
But if you had gone in to any specific lesson, and changed the comment of that lesson earlier, I changed this.
You may have to go back and let's say, for example, you you had changed the intention thread and you're getting a lot of comments because people are posting their intentions.
Well, If if if that's the problem, then go into that that lesson and just make sure you select not following.
I've already done that.
So like I said, for each lesson, you can select it as not following or follow everyone's comments or follow only staff's comments.
Or you could set it by default for the entire course for new lessons going forward.
Now, let's say you are inside a lesson and you're like, well, how do I get back to course's homepage.
What what you do is you click on the title of the course on the top left, and that'll bring you back to the course homepage.
So I hope this helps.

i like the explanation of turning notification on or of
One more setting to check is your account notifications. Do you have "mentions" turned on for "Anyone"? If yes, then hopefully you'll be notified when anyone mentions you. See this screenshot:
In other words, what if you unfollow the thread and course... would you still get email when you're mentioned in this thread?
Jaaa !
That is very helpful, thank you
