1 of the issues you'll find about chat GPT is when you're trying to take that information into a document, you might not like how the formatting looks.
So let me go ahead and show you what I mean.
On the screen here, I've just selected this particular a chat, and I'm going to go ahead and and copy this.
Because I I use chat GPT in dark mode, by the way, and you could do light mode if you prefer, dark light mode, dark modes on the left hand side, but I it's a little easier on my eyes.
So so I just copied I just copied this whole thing, and I'm gonna go with Google Docs.
And I'm gonna go and paste it in.
Okay.
So notice it turns into well, dark mode.
Right?
It's kind of weird.
It's not in entirely.
The whole document is not in dark mode, but it it's not in a format that it's gonna be easier for me to work with, plus it's a little bit, you know, has some weird other formatting.
So what I do is I select all.
So command a to select all.
Or you can you if you just wanna select the the the ones you can, you know, shift and then click you know, click here and then pull down a shift key and click to the top of what you copied or whatever or select all.
And then here's a trick I wanna think Jeremy Blanchard for giving me this trick.
Shortcut is command forward slash or backslash.
Anyway, I'm gonna go ahead and do that.
Oops.
Let me go ahead and yeah.
There he is.
Okay.
So how how did I do that?
It's under format, I believe, and it's under it's basically clear formatting.
Let me see if I can options.
Okay.
There's none there's no none of them here.
Is there clear formatting somewhere?
Clear formatting there it is.
Okay.
That's that's the sorry.
It's under format.
Once you select the text, it's under format, Scroll down, clear formatting, which is on the Mac, it's Apple or command, that that particular that that is not the typical slash.
This is not the slash that's underneath the question mark.
It's the slash underneath the the lead button.
Right?
So anyway, just wanna let you know that that's there.
Same thing if I click here.
It'll it'll do it.
And see, this looks so much nicer now in terms of what I'm used to anyway, and I I can clear formatting for that.
Well and go ahead and do that keyboard shortcut of command slash is very useful.
So I hope this is helpful.
I know some of you don't use Google Docs.
So if you paste it into Microsoft Word, there's some clear formatting somewhere as well.
