Hi everyone, I'm Julie! Here's my bio:
Julie Nowak (she/they) is an accessibility consultant and disability justice educator who specializes in nature accessibility. Founder of "The Seasonal Body," Julie helps organizations and individuals learn how to make nature connection more accessible to disabled folks and others who can’t access nature spaces. Their work is influenced by their own lived experience as a multiply-disabled and neuroqueer person, as well as by their professional experience working in education and nature-related fields over the past 20 years. Julie has an M.Ed. in Adult Education and Community Development, and is fluent in English, French, and Spanish. Julie is a white person with Celtic and Germanic ancestry, and is based near Tkaronto (Toronto, Canada). They view both the #LandBack movement and ancestral connection as important for nature-related work. You can follow Julie at SeasonalBody.org and @TheSeasonalBody on social media.
Note: My website is currently in the process of being updated with more info about me and my work, so stay tuned!
To learn more about me, here is a short pitch deck about my work (available as both a pdf, and an audio recording where I describe the visuals).

Go to your favorite course lessons (pages) and scroll down to the comment section... at the top of that comment section click the bell icon to "follow" the comment thread so that you get notified if anyone else comments on that lesson. Each course has many lessons and you only need to "follow" the ones that interest you most.

Download the Simplero app from your phone's app store 🙌🏾
the app looks different on my android phone. When I click on the course I registered for, it opens in a mobile browser, and and then it asks me to log in. So is it no longer possible to watch it within the app itself?
@Julie Nowak indeed they have a new app since about a week ago and it looks different from the above tutorial now -- I need to update it. Can you check your mobile app store to see if you have the latest Simplero app? It might ask you to login via mobile browser but should then direct you back to the app to watch the lessons? Let me know 🙏🏼
@George Kao thanks, I do have the most up to date app. But I discovered that if I click on "pick up where you left off", rather than on the main page that says "click here for access to the George Kao courses", then I'm able to watch the videos within the app!
@George Kao @George Kao (there are 2 accounts for you listed, and I'm not sure which one to tag?)
How do I change my settings so I receive email notifications? I clicked "follow" on a post like you suggested, but I only seem to get notifications within Simplero - so I don't see it unless I'm on the platform. I don't see any settings anywhere for receiving email notifications?
actually nevermind! I realized my simplero account was tied to a different email address than I thought, so my email notifications were just going to a different place lol
