I am a mother of nine children. I was born Dutch and married a German. He was a widow with three children. We had six more, and two of our children got married. So far, this has added four grandchildren to our family. So, I'm a young grandmother as well. Six of the children still live at home (the youngest is six), and I homeschool them. It helps that I am a certified teacher.
We also speak several languages and live in different countries, like Germany and a jungle area in Costa Rica. At the moment we are staying in France. We speak Dutch, German, English, and Spanish together, and are learning French.
I birthed my biological children gently at home, the last three of them in a free and painless birth. All this adds to the many stories I have gathered in my life. My life has never been quiet or boring!
I help women to embrace health and wholeness from deep within their hearts. Especially in the area of relationships, fertility, pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. I love to help to find real wisdom, to hear the voice of one's heart, and to live this wisdom, even within one's daily busy life.
I started coaching in 2022. With George's materials and courses, I started marketing midst 2023. After 100 Instagram posts, I finally felt visible, things were getting better and my coaching slots were full.
One milestone was to publish my first book via self-publishing (KDP) with the help of George's course "From Blog to Book". Because of the tips, the launch did very well!
I noticed I don't like to coach too much, because I love it more to be creative among these platforms, creating courses, reaching a group, and not just one person at a time.
So, This year I plan on 100 videos on YouTube (or maybe the first half of those) and learning about YouTube and speaking (online and on stage). I want to start to post on LinkedIn, Pinterest, maybe TikTok, but especially on YouTube. I'll also continue on Instagram, with about 3–4 posts a week, and some stories.
My favorite pastimes are to walk in the beauty and solitude of nature, a long hot shower, a massage, and the inspiration of a good idea or insight.

Share your experiences of YT "success" thus far... however you define it, whatever is motivating you! As I see your comments below, I'll add some of them here as examples... Shoubhik Purkayastha: 1st video: 637 views in 33 days + tons of Heart-wrenching comments/ emails/ texts -- powerful healing in me (Unanticipated - seeing the healing in others)... 2nd video: 127 views in 5 days --> massively SURPRISED at the deep connection.. and how they are watching multiple times to go deeper. See other examples from your fellow classmates in the comments below! Not from this course but other examples I discovered recently: Erin Foley career coach (gets most of her many client inquiries) from this one unedited video from years ago Old mans advice -- 25 million views of this unedited video If you don't see comments below, or don't have the ability to comment, you need to be logged into this course.
It's going well. MUCH better than I'd ever have thought or imagined. From zero to 170 subscribers, views around 100-200, and my 4th video went viral!!! I didn't make it to do that 😅🙈 and had to deal with being visible.
Soft natural daylight is best – I face a large window in my office which is where I make most of my videos. The main point is to try not to have your face in the dark. When natural light is not possible, I recommend an Umbrella Lighting Kit (approx $40) -- that single lighting kit will suffice for home video recording. Here is an example and another example using this lighting kit. Alternative: a softbox lighting kit. You do need about 2.5 feet (0.75 meters) of clearance for this lighting kit, placed behind the camera, facing you. The key is: don't be backlit.
Yes, change it here. However, be sure to also update everywhere you've mentioned or linked to that YT URL. Maybe google your YT URL and see where it's been mentioned.

I thin, I'm quite weird on video (being my authentic self): My voice when I get into 'teaching mode', my movements when I move my head weirdly or think and look up too often, my speed when I'm slow talking (my German still isn't as my Dutch, even though Germans don't notice that I'm not German which is cool. But I definitely think my video would be better if one would listen to me on 1,25 speed!), and probably many other reasons.
