Sunday Reflection: Building Facades and Facing Illusions

Toward the end of the pandemic, I joined the Great Resignation and set sail on a journey to build the next chapter of my life.  

At the time, I had a plan and naively thought that within six months, I would reach a new shore.  

As plans often go, reality intervenes with unexpected plot twists, which is something none of us are spared.

I love your vulnerability. There have been times in my life where I have felt like I was stalling or failing-and really I was learning..and when I look back I can see the beautiful engineering of it all.

Each day of your life is fuel and grist for the mill. Nothing is wasted. I promise.

I had an inspiration - with the idea of 'rebel against the resistance' which I love. I am mindful, though, our inner child (children) can be so terrified of failure. So another option is a curious approach, which is gentle/trauma informed side: 'I wonder what I can get done during an hour of focused work on this subject? Remember doing work little and often will adds up fast!'

I am loving the content here.
