Hi! I’m Anyā (they/them), a business guide, artist-strategist, and soft systems alchemist at Anya Studios.
I’ve spent the last few years rebuilding how I live and work… slowly, gently, from the inside out.
Anya Studios began as a way to hold all the parts of me I used to leave out: my sensitivity, my pace, my way of seeing patterns in people’s stories and in the systems around them. Now I support others… especially founders and creatives in transition, to build businesses that move with the rhythm of their lives, not against it.
My work blends soft witnessing with clear systems, the kind that don’t just look good on paper, but actually feel good to live inside of. I care deeply about helping people map their inner knowing to how their business functions day to day… not just in big vision, but in small, tangible choices.
If you’re navigating change or building something that doesn’t fit the usual mold, I’d love to be in conversation.

We have reached the end of this specific journey, but we are standing at the beginning of something much larger... Throughout this course, we have focused on your business—your database, your collaborations, your sustainability. But netcaring is about more than just filling your practice... Imagine a business world built on soulful connections ... rather than robotic transactions. In the traditional economy, we are often taught to view peers as competitors and clients as targets. This creates a culture of scarcity, noise, and isolation. It tells us we must shout to be heard and hustle to survive. But we are choosing a different path. By practicing netcaring, you are proving that joy is a viable business strategy. You are demonstrating that we rise by lifting others. You are healing the collective wound of professional isolation—one connection at a time. When you refuse to treat people like numbers, you create a pocket of sanctuary in a noisy world. This is not a small thing. It is a revolutionary act of care. And it tends to create reciprocity that benefits your business too! See this YT short about a study on popularity. As you step out into the world with these tools, you might feel an urge to explain this new way to everyone. But remember: You don't need to "teach" netcaring to anyone. You model it. You model it by connecting from enjoyment. By being the one who listens deeply in a shallow world. By being the one who respects boundaries and honors your word. People will notice. They will feel the difference in your presence. They will wonder how you do it. And when they ask, you can share. Never underestimate the power of your "gentle hellos." When you treat a colleague with this level of care, they feel seen. They feel safer. And because of that, they become more likely to extend that same care to their clients and peers. You are starting a chain reaction of kindness you may never fully see. This is your legacy. You are no longer just a business owner trying to "network." You are a Netcarer. To anchor this shift, please complete this sentence and write it somewhere visible in your workspace: "I am the kind of person who..." To complete our journey together, I invite you to participate in a simple three-part closing ceremony in the comments below: Celebrate: Name one connection, moment, or insight from this course that surprised or moved you. Commit: What is one specific action you will take in the next 3 days to continue your netcaring practice? Extend: Bring someone else into the warmth. Identify one colleague who seems burned out by traditional marketing or isolated in their work. When the moment feels right, introduce them to netcaring—share a post, describe the concept, or simply offer them a moment of unconditional support. Thank you for your trust, your heart, and your willingness to build a gentler business world. Let the netcaring begin/continue! 🧡 🙏🏼

What comes to mind when you hear "Deliberate Practice"? What are your initial thoughts and feelings about applying this concept to your work and life?
My first thought was thinking about my artistic practice and also how I was taught in photography school. As an artist, I think of deliberate to approach what I'm shaping/creating/exploring with rigour (but not pressure) - with the discerning eye of being able to see something different that will inform me something new to keep proceeding on the path of exploration.
In photography school, which was more vocational training, we were in the studio 7am and left 7pm - we turned up everyday and practiced, to the point where so much of it is unconscious activity. I recall our market/outdoor photography, we spent 5-6 months going to the same market everyday 5 days a week and all we had to do was capture photos. It was frustrating, not obvious why we were made to do it until we came out on the other side so intuitive with noticing stories/ light/ finding the frame and navigating gear. Same went for the studio equipment and conditions. That is when I realised after doing 10,000 hours of deliberate photography practice, there was still so much I didn't know/ had not created or captured yet.
@Anyā Likhitha Your story is such a good reminder for me to 'follow the simple directions'!

Deliberate practice is essentially what I teach at my studio. And experienced growing up playing classical piano. I think awareness training is half the equation. If we don't know what we're trying to change or move towards, it leads to the sentiment you shared about "practice doesn't make perfect..." In my coaching, I often talk about how we can't change what we cannot see (i.e., around inner patterns).
I can't find it right now (even tried ChatGPT and Gemini), but there was a study that said top-level ice skaters (I believe) practice movements that are difficult for them 80-90% of the time. And only practiced what they were already good at 10-20% of the time. Most of us like to spend time on what we're already good at because it feels safe and comfortable.
@Mike Wang love this so much :o I have a hypermobile body that is regaining mobility after having lost it for years, and I have been doing a deliberate practice of walking the same route for the last 8 months. Everyday is feeling like a new experience! I was able to connect why that is working for me around how you shared it is about being able to see things so i can change it (the patterns!). The patterns of a body holding trauma, pain, chronic illness and being able to repattern it through intentional movement/practice and keen awareness. I discover new things each time i feel like I crossed a new threshold in being able to walk (eg. retrain collapsed arches, shift the pelvis back to neutral, stabilize different joints etc). Thanks for this! :)
@Anyā Likhitha Ah I love this - thank you for sharing 🙏What you’re doing is such a powerful example of how change really happens. Not through unconscious efforting or trying to force it, but through presence and intention over time. The fact that you’re discovering something new each day just shows how deeply your system is responding to that awareness and consistency! And yeah - when we can see the pattern, we can actually start to shift it. So good. Keep going :)

Hello and a warm welcome! I'm George Kao, and I'm truly delighted you're joining us for Soulful Content: Stand Out & Connect Deeply in the Age of AI Noise. Begin by watching the video above this text. It includes a welcome message and a short visualization/meditation to help us all arrive fully and ground ourselves in this learning space together. Let's enjoy learning and working lightly :) Our Journey Together Our core purpose: To empower you to consistently create authentic content (rooted in your OGI -- Organic Grounded Insight, which you'll learn about later in this module) that truly connects with your ideal audience, stands out naturally from the noise, and feels both sustainable and joyful for you. Key highlights of what we'll explore over the next ~6 months: Unearth and articulate your unique Organic Grounded Insight (OGI). Mine your lived experiences, client work, and daily awareness for potent content. Deeply understand and resonate with your ideal audience. Craft compelling content using effective structures that honor your OGI. Overcome creative blocks and use AI ethically as a supportive tool. Share content effectively using low-competition strategies (like Strategic Commenting). Build sustainable workflows and personalized content plans. Module 1 Objectives: Setting Our Foundation By the end of this first module, our goal is for you to: Understand the current content challenges and why OGI is the key. Clearly define Organic Grounded Insight (OGI) for yourself. Begin practicing accessing your OGI through intuition and daily awareness. Start recognizing elements of resonance in successful content. Begin mining OGI from your strengths and successes. Establish your initial OGI Capture Log and foundational creation rhythm. Feel welcomed and connected as we begin building our community. Expected Transformation Imagine moving from content confusion or overwhelm towards a place of clarity, confidence, and even joy in expressing your authentic voice. Picture your content creating genuine ripples of connection and positive impact. That's the potential we're cultivating throughout this course. Our Co-Learning Community I see my courses as a learning community that I'm facilitating – we learn from each other. I look forward to learning from you, just as you'll learn from what I share and from the insights of your peers. Culture-setters: Each of us influences our course's culture with every interaction. How would you like for this course community to feel? What are a few top values you'd love for us to embody together? (Share your thoughts in the comments below!) Some guiding principles for us: Comment once, reply twice. For each comment that you make sharing your own thoughts or questions, try to find 2 other comments (especially those with fewer replies) and add your encouragement or helpful suggestions. This fosters true community interaction. Co-learning. None of us knows everything. As we learn through action and reflection, let's share generously and create a supportive co-learning environment. I look forward to learning from your comments! Confidentiality. Let's maintain this as a safe space. Please agree to keep all comments shared here, especially personal reflections, confidential within our course group. Receive deeply. When others share their reflections or feedback on something you've posted (especially if it's personal), practice receiving it deeply. It’s a powerful practice for integration and understanding your unique energy signature. (Let me know below if these values are helpful, and if you have any suggestions. The values we embody together here are what make this course experience amazing for each other!) 😊 Navigating the Course Lessons: Each lesson typically includes a video from me, followed by text like this for details and exercises. Such richness and depth to these values, George. I would love to share the value of patience for ourselves and allowing a gradual unfolding and growing during this amazing opportunity for personal and community connection.
@Penelope Lane Patience is one I always grapple with, but slowly learning!
@Amy Ewald oh yes Amy, me too and I guess slowly is the way to go.
@Penelope Lane oh, I need more patience for myself as well. I love the term "gradual unfolding" here. It feels very spacious and inviting :)
@Bingz Huang thank you for your kind comment Bingz, yes it has a wonderful feel to it- gradual unfolding 💛
@Penelope Lane i love this, it is filled with intention of so much love and tenderness for ourselves, especially during this period where it needs to be nurtured gently because so much of what we look out to in the world is challenging, thanks for sharing so beautifully ✨
@Anyā Likhitha yes thank you Anya and I was touched that my reflections resonated with you so much. Moving gently and powerfully within ourselves and for others we touch xx
I am an Emotion Code, Bach remedies and Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique practitioner and a teacher.
My key hope: to finally be able (after 5 years!) to create content consistently and, above all, to enjoy it!
I resonate with the values you mentioned, George, and I would also add openness, which I think is essential in a community. Openness to the opinions and needs of others, to differences...
@Christel Forré I hear you re 'enjoy it!'. Content creation has always been a chore for me and something that I need to check off my to-do list. I am eager for it to be fun and something I look forward to doing!
@Amy Ewald Yes Amy, that's the dream! ;-)
@Christel Forré so beautiful to hold the hope so tenderly despite the time in waiting to show up to create consistently, power + love to you in navigating this 💛
I am on a journey of being true to myself and to help others do the same :) I hope to turn the process of content creation into something that I enjoy and something that I look forward to rather than dread. I want to share the value of respect - I believe this is so important for any community x
@Amy Ewald yes, it's so important to enjoy content creation! I believe that when we enjoy the process, we attract more of the right audience/clients to us.
@Amy Ewald , I share that hope, that content creation might be something I look forward to rather than dread. It seems that many of us, myself included, relate to content creation this way as the default mode.
@Lynne Young I feel like I am so close. I really enjoy it when I do it and yet I dont do it often enough. But I can imagine how freeing it would be to just do it and love it and then reap the benefits. I hope this is the course that makes that happen for us.
@Amy Ewald cheers to the intention of moving past the dread and leaning into joy 💛🌻
I call myself a Dancing Self-Discovery Coach; because dancing, especially the process of learning dance, brings me deep joy; and I love facilitating the process of self-discovery in my clients through a combination of movement, journaling, and subconscious rewiring.
Through this course, I hope to gain more confidence in building mastery and establishing credibility as I keep sharing content more consistently.
I deeply resonate with the values described above by George, and I'll add the quality of Childlike Wonder = a blend of Awe & Curiosity to this. This was taught by one of my teachers who created The Wonder Method modality as a tool for healing and conscious awakening. It's a beautiful way of uplifting and expanding my energy :)
@Bingz Huang I love this so much :') I've been on tiktok for a long while, but recently the samba whisk went viral and i enjoy it so much!! I have synesthesia (intersensory perception like i can taste colours and see sounds) and it's one of the deepest feelings of.. oh!! I wish i could move my body to feel the sound which feels like the movement you're describing above in the awe + curiosity as well 💛
Thank you for this lovely course George!! I made a bingo card for myself because I like to build a rhythm around intentional things on it in seasons + also print it out, physically feeling like dopamine hits of completing things lights up my world / keeps the actions in front of my eyes. I made an A4 printable on Canva if anyone is interested - you can copy this template and adapt it for you ☺️ Have fun! https://www.canva.com/desig...
