Celebrating a milestone today...

I’m celebrating a milestone and today I want to share it with you.

I’ve just been ordained as an interfaith minister.

This journey began thirteen years ago when I graduated from Divinity School. Back then, I hadn’t encountered a spiritual movement I could picture joining (though I did resonate with elements of many.)

But five years later, after charting my own course for a while, I did find that right match.

Dr. Isa Gucciardi is a teacher …

When you can't let go

Have you ever had trouble letting go of a relationship?

This is one of the things that spiritual counseling can really help with. Here's what this might look like in a Depth Hypnosis session.

(For client confidentiality, basic identifying details have been changed. )

A young man came to see me because he was having trouble getting over a breakup.  It had been more than three years, but he still thought of his former lover constantly.

He knew it was over...  Why couldn't he let go?

Too often enough, I find myself having dreams of one particular person from my past. I have only recently started questioning why this is repetitive and that this might be a matter of spiritual importance. Anyway, thanks for sharing this. I appreciated reading it. :)

@Amy Hunt Those are really important questions, I think...  Very often, when this is happening, this is an indication that there has been some exchange of soul parts and that remediation is needed to help take care of it.  Aren't dreams so useful for helping us notice these things?  I never cease to marvel at the power of dreams...

@Noe Venable such a fascinating image to work with- very cool work!

@Susan Tutt Thanks for reading, Susan!

@Susan Tutt Tagging you, thanks for the support!

out of the comfort zone and into....opportunity!

A biz friend who prides herself on making connections between people has thrown me a golden opportunity to well and truly get out of my comfort zone.

A few months ago, I would have panicked and said no. Too busy. Too tired. Too something...

But this time I said yes, no hesitation. I had a WWGD moment (what would George do?) Instantly, "take it lightly" came to my head.

A last minute drop-out made space for ME to speak at this summit for women's empowerment. I'm not exactly sure it's a good …

Oh, I LOVE this, Susan!  So happy and excited for you!  Yes!  Take it lightly!  What a beautiful way to proceed with self compassion, and embrace this new opportunity.  Rooting for you!

Imagination is a powerful creative tool

There's a saying "Energy flows where attention goes."

Here's how that plays out for us.

Imagination can put you in prison.  “I can’t do it.  I’ll never be able to do it.  They’ll never accept me.  Who am I to even try?”

OR Imagination can set you free.  “It’s funny, but I just think I’m going to be able to do this.  I feel my wings growing.  I feel hope blossoming in my chest.  The more I imagine it, the stronger it gets.”

How do you …

Hi

@Noe Venable . Glad to be a source of inspiration!

That quote, energy goes where attention flows, is part of something I laminated and stuck on my fridge for a daily reminder many moons ago.

Here are the others that go along with that one:

@Susan Tutt It makes sense that this would resonate, since Huna is one of the ancient wisdom streams that's integrated into the healing modality I practice!  But I'd never heard that exact phrasing!  Thanks again so much.  Wishing you all the best.
