If you use Instagram, you'll start to notice that people invite you to their broadcast channel. And the broadcast channel is basically like a mass direct messaging to everyone who joins the channel, and it's like you will see them in your direct messages. Right? You will see them in your in your direct messages, under the channels tab, under the channels tab. And I have and I find them annoying personally because you get notified when someone broadcast to their channel if you follow the channel.

Just like if someone if your best friend messages on Instagram, you also get notified. It's the same notification. And so you have to go to your direct and message inbox to see if it's a private message or if it's a channel message, and I find that quite annoying. I don't wanna annoy others like that. This is why I don't do it broadcast channel, but I know, of course, it probably gets more eyeballs on your content if you do broadcast channel.

I just think I just as a user, I find it annoying. So I have basically I think I've stopped somewhere. Somewhere, I have stopped noted notifications. Let's see. Tools.

Notifications. I'm gonna click on notifications, right there in settings. And you could pause all, by the way, but you can scroll down and select other notifications types from Instagram. Right? Or messages.

I don't receive any Instagram notifications on my phone. So my phone's like, hey. Are you sure you wanna maybe you could turn on your Instagram notifications? No. Broadcast channel, messages.

Anyway, if I turn off or if I turn off the invitation to broadcast channels, then I won't even join any. So the other the other notifications don't matter because if I don't join any, then channel messages, replies, etcetera won't won't be on anyway. So I'm gonna go back now because there's no save button at the bottom. Right? They just go back to confirm.

I'm gonna go back again to confirm. You're I'm back in settings. So, that's why I don't do broadcast channels. But like I said, if you join them, you'll notice that you get notifications all the time from them, and it's supposed to help them promote their content or or take polls and surveys and stuff. So it's up to you if you wanna try.
