How important is it to make video for your business?
Well, I wanna say that just about for everybody here.
Actually, I'm gonna make that claim.
For everybody watching this, it will make it it will make your website better to have an introductory video unless it's really bad.
It's probably gonna be okay, but it's gonna make your website better to have an introductory video than not to have 1.
If you are too shy to put it on the home page.
Put it on the about page because the person who's gonna go to your about page is already leaning in metaphorically.
To wanting to feel more about you.
And for them to see you on video, there's no replacement.
Words are fine.
Some of you can write beautifully and 1 of your energy can come through that wonderful and your pictures can show your energy.
But to have video it's a closest thing, obviously, to to being on a Zoom call with you or to being in person with you.
And and very importantly, video filters out the less the non ideal clients of people who are not good for you it filters them out.
Why?
Because if someone doesn't like you on video, If someone does not like you on video, you should not have them as a client or as a customer as a student.
Because they're they're gonna get more of that.
Okay?
You see what I mean?
And it filters in the most ideal client.
So if someone sees your video and goes, you know, I like this person's energy.
They're already 80 percent sold.
The rest of the website is just confirming.
Oh, yeah.
That's right.
This is how they work.
Okay.
Yeah.
That's right.
This is how much it costs or where.
So I think for everybody here homepage and maybe homepage video, but certainly about page video.
Ideally, you can homepage video too, but we'll talk about that in the coming segments, which 1 homepage, which 1 about homepage is gonna be really helpful for getting the right clients and getting more committed clients too.
Okay?
Those are number 1.
But number 2 question is, do you need to make video just ongoingly on social media or for your newsletter or, you know, just for your marketing to keep going make making videos.
That's up to you.
For some of you, it's gonna be real challenging to make video because of many reasons.
So then then don't.
I'm not gonna require that of you.
I have found over the years as you probably can tell why I make so many videos because I have found it to be really beneficial for for filtering in the the ideal clients and filtering out the less ideal ones.
I mean, there's everything honestly, there's everything from someone not liking how I look for whatever reason, you know, to someone liking how I look, to someone not liking how I sound, someone liking how I sound.
Someone not liking how I do this to someone like, you know, it's like, I like to be who I am with my clients.
And that's how I show up on video too.
And therefore, when they see me on when they start working with me, they're like, you're just like you're on video.
Great.
Wonderful.
I get more of that, except on a deeper level.
Right?
So I think it's a benefit.
I would be be remiss to not mention my authentic video course of an entire course about making authentic videos ongoing for your business and we have a practice group, you know, to put as many videos anyway.
But whether or not you make it at least make an about page video and hopefully also a home page video.
So I hope this is helpful.
For your About Page, it helps a lot, since people are there to get a feel for who you are.
For your Home Page it usually helps people to quickly get a sense of your energy and whether they resonate.
For ongoing social media, it's up to you, but over time it develops your confidence and uniqueness in your field!
