My thoughts about high-ticket coaching offerings...
What do I think about high ticket offerings?
You're going to see most of the Facebook ads who are trying to make you money as a coach are gonna say, hi to not most, but many of them.
Right?
High ticket is, high ticket bad.
Like like, you know, and I'll tell you, to be honest with you, I I have well, high ticket, of course, is relative depending on the industry and depending on your audience.
For some people, high ticket would be a thousand dollars a thousand dollar spent.
Yeah.
I agree.
It's for for most people in the world that is a high ticket price.
But for for some industries like my industry, high ticket might be like 5 to 25000.
Yes.
You heard that right.
5 to 25000 for for a single program.
And or, like, you pay a coach 2500 a month to to to have them be your coach, not just a mine industry.
Other than there's some spiritual teachers charging 2500 a month.
For them to spiritually mentor you.
So III have no judgment on that because it really depends on people's relationship to their audience and what their audience is accustomed to, what feels there.
To everybody involved.
Right?
And so the your credit bill I mean, okay.
For example, let's let's use a name that most of us have heard of Renee Brown.
Or Tony Robbins, or pick some well known leader who if they had a spot for you in their 1 on 1 coaching, What do you think they should be charging you?
It's probably not 250 a month.
Probably not even 250 an hour.
You know, with someone like Renee Brown or, like, probably 500 to a thousand an hour is probably what they should be charging.
Based on their credibility.
Because most of the people they serve are, you know, corporate leaders, government leaders or whatever.
It's like a thousand bucks an hour or whatever.
You know?
For them, it's like, Yeah.
Right?
So it it depends.
Right?
So so but back to Earth here where most of us are.
Okay?
What I've seen most is people coming to me and say, George, I regret having created a high ticket program.
I regret that my offerings were mostly high ticket because now I wanna charge less and it's so weird for me to like lower my price from and by the way, I had the same experience because in the beginning, I was also trained on the high-tech model.
And my did you know my price for 1 on 1 coaching?
In 2010 was 350 dollars an hour.
My second year in business I was 350 dollars an hour because, you know, I'm worth that much.
And I don't even charge 350 dollars an hour now, 13, 14 years later.
You know, I charge essentially 240 an hour, but that's only for my group clients, whatever.
It doesn't matter.
I don't mean to charge it.
It's like a and you know how 2 people bought for me, like, in those 2 years when I started to buy 2 clients.
I had I was selling other things, but it was ridiculous no way.
I'm glad Looking back, I'm like, I'm so glad that I didn't charge more people 350 an hour at that level of knowledge that I had back then.
So I have heard more people.
So however however, I also think that you should have a mix of offers and that if you are going to charge someone 1200 dollars, 2000 dollars for a program, ideally, it wouldn't be their first thing with you.
Because ideally, they would have taken this from you, a lower price thing.
The most ideal customer journey would be, okay.
Let me try you out for a lower price thing.
That went well.
I liked your product.
You you liked how I engaged that there was such a thing.
Good.
It seems like a good fit.
Alright.
Let me let me pay for your middle price thing.
I like that too as a customer.
I really liked it and you really liked how by engaged, you felt it was right for me.
Good.
Now let me pay you the higher price thing because we have vetted each other along the way not just oh, I looked at your social media profile.
I looked at your website.
It was cool.
But, no, I vetted you by paying you, getting your product I like the way you deliver your product or your service.
You like you think I'm a good fit.
So in other words, for me, because I do have a high ticket thing right now.
Right right now, my highest ticket thing is my program that's 222 dollars a month.
02:20 to a month.
That's not nothing for most people.
So I take applications for that stuff.
And I and the application the first question I ask is, have you taken anything else from me?
And if they say, no, they had not taken anything.
They can't even continue the application.
The next screen says, thank you so much for your interest in my group program, but it's really only for people who have already experienced my courses so that, you know, we know it's the right fit.
I'm not that I'm trying to sell more stuff But it's, like, even if taken 1 lowest price course and we were really good fit, great application continue.
Right?
It doesn't but I want them to actually, like, think about it.
So in my opinion, that is really the healthiest high ticket thing.
Is there some at the very least a vetting process of application and probably interview.
And really, when I say interview, I mean, Not just them interviewing you, they should do that, obviously, before they spend the 7000, whatever, that you should interview them.
And by interview, it's like, you are trying to see if they're going to be a good fit.
They're going to be grateful.
Basically, you want at the end of this you want both of you to have been grateful that the that the money was transacted, that the experience happened.
So I hope this is helpful.
And gives you some sense of how I'd like to like to do it.
I think high ticket offers are great.
It's just let's have some kind of journey along the way if possible.
Yeah.
